How to tether a computer to a mobile device for internet access
Need to make your phone a hotspot to access the internet on your laptop? Here's how to turn on mobile tethering between your cell phone and your laptop.
Android Devices
Go to settings and select the Network and Internet menu option.

Enable the feature you wish to use: - USB tethering means the phone and laptop (or other device) is connected with a cable

Go to the settings menu.
