The last couple of weeks has been a bit rough for Google Chrome users. The latest bug we've been seeing is causing the dreaded “Aw, Snap!” error. Luckily there is a quick fix that should resolve the issue. Follow the steps below to uninstall and re-install Chrome.
Uninstall Google Chrome
- Close Google Chrome
- Open the start menu and type “appwiz.cpl” and press enter
- This will open “Programs and features”
- Click Google Chrome and select uninstall
- Open Internet Explorer or Firefox and go to Google.com and click “YES” to switch to Chrome and follow the prompts to install Google Chrome.
Google Chrome should now be fully functional.
